Privacy Policy (Effective April 27, 2026)
MemberTap provides engagement software to churches and ministry organizations. Customer organizations control the personal data submitted to the service, and MemberTap acts as a data processor/service provider for that data.
1. Data we collect
- Account and administrator profile data (name, email, role, organization).
- Church member and guest profile data entered by customer teams (names, contact details, household information, attendance and interaction history).
- Event and ministry interaction data (check-ins, registrations, volunteer activity, follow-up records, prayer requests submitted through customer workflows).
- Technical and security logs (IP address, device/browser details, timestamps, and audit events).
2. How we use data
- Provide check-in, engagement insight, notifications, and reporting features.
- Protect platform security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot service issues.
- Provide support and communicate account-related notices.
3. Data sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted subprocessors to deliver the service, including Supabase for hosted database, authentication, and storage infrastructure.
4. Data retention
Customer data is retained while an account is active and deleted or returned according to contract terms and verified customer requests. Backup data may persist for a limited period consistent with disaster recovery operations.
5. Regional rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Where applicable, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing. California residents may request disclosure and deletion rights under CCPA/CPRA. Requests can be sent to legal@membertap.com.
